With accessibility to art for everyone at heart, I conceived the idea of creating murals based on my photographs, bringing my art closer to the viewer and making it accessible to everyone, and liberating it from being confined solely to gallery walls.

Street art is an ultimate gallery that knows no boundaries and excludes no one.
It is where my photography needs to be.

This notion feels intrinsic to me, as I had not been exposed to formal art until I was an adult, when I decided to pursue it myself. My gallery was everything around me, with street art, posters and my surroundings playing a significant role in shaping me as a person and an artist.

I feel like I have some giving back to do.

For my first mural, I chose a photograph of a paper composition I created while working on my book, Perpetuum Mobile. The idea was to take a picture in the city, then recreate that image in an abstract form (in this case, a composition with paper), and then return that image in the form of a poster to the place that inspired me.

Since then, I have pondered the continuity of my photography and how I can make it ever-evolving, crossing the boundaries of photography and merging into other disciplines, thereby reaching a broader audience.
