Tenaciously defined by objects is the most accurate description of my home. I adore going to charity shops and antique stores to find treasures that would enrich my life and the space in which I live. I believe there is a certain magic about old goods, the history that lays within, the hands that touched it, people that owned it. Consequently, my boat is unsurprisingly full of them.

I was relaxing in the living room when at a whim, I picked up a camera in one hand, magnifying glass in the other, and took a shot. I found it really enjoyable to be so spontaneous with the camera and so free with the images created in consequence. I have never investigated these avenues of photography, and I am very thankful to be able to explore and grow as an artist through the projects. I feel really inspired by this task and very positive and enthusiastic about the course over the next three years.

I already feel like I have learned and discovered so much, and it’s only the beginning.
