Love

Home is, first and foremost, love for me. I am so fortunate to have found my soulmate in this bizarre world. I am eternally grateful as he changed my life. Shaun equals home. Wherever we go, we go together, and there will be our home.

When composing this image, I wanted to explore the blurred aspect of mistakes within photography and the summer project. I took a few photographs of Shaun playing with the depths of field and levels of focus. I was curious about taking blurred images of a person as it is something that I would never normally do. I found the results quite fascinating. Once again, while delving into a new concept, I found myself pleasantly surprised at what I discovered. It truly makes me think of experimenting more with this sort of image and examining the potentialities.

The more I explore and engage myself within the method from the project, the more I discover how versatile and relatable it is to me as an artist. I always savored the abstract side of photography, the prospects that come with it, the endlessness of it. I believe that this task is really encouraging me to be freer, more obscure, and I gladly will be.
